WELCOME TO FREEDOM ATHLETIC ACADEMY
YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS HERE
Our mission statement comes from addressing our WHY. “Why are we doing this?” The answer is simple – we want to help people. We want to get people excited about health and fitness. We want to provide you with the tools to safely take your health and fitness to levels you never thought possible. We promise to offer a fun, yet professional environment as we help you reach your fitness goals. We promise to always challenge you so that you never get bored; and to create a community that will inspire you, motivate you, and become a second family to you.
Our bread and butter. We’ve successfully used CrossFit’s methodology of constantly varied functional movements as a pillar of our program to help our members lose weight, gain strength and even compete in CrossFit at the Regional and even Games level. You’ll be exposed to the best that the world of strength and conditioning has to offer – gymnastics, Olympic lifting, plyometrics, sprinting, etc…. No gimmicks, just proven methods for getting individuals strong, fast and fit.
Our “Fitness” workouts are for individuals looking to be lean, strong and healthy for the long-haul. This program is comprised of simple movements that deliver the most efficient ways to improve body composition and keep athletes healthy and balanced.
FLOW consists of aerobic (“longer” cardio) based conditioning with mixed modalities (different movements). Each workout will be varied but very simple in terms of the movements. The intent here is to develop better breathing and lung capacity.
“So what’s different?”
What is different from this style of class is that there is less teaching and learning movements, and more time continuously FLOWing through these longer workouts. LESS to think about, and MORE fitness packed into each class. Warm-ups for these workouts will be self-explanatory and brief - expect to pretty much get right after it!
Freedom Endurance is for the athlete that wants to optimize their aerobic capacity. The program is comprised primarily of running, but occasionally may include, rowing, assault biking, and even using the ski erg. [Almost] All the interval workouts have individually prescribed pace ranges that are based on your current performance data. The goal is to efficiently develop your speed, stamina, and endurance.
